« Last post by Nod500 on January 20, 2012, 09:51:11 pm »
Well Well Well, My name is Lewis im 16 years old and i live in Scotland.

I am in my second last year at Secondary education and i am studying Maths, English, Biology, Graphic Communication and Geography.

I alos have 2 jobs which keep me busy when im not at school. One is working on a 1200 Acre hill sheep farm and the other as a Welder/Engineer.

More recently i have taken a great interest in Restoring/Converting/Scratchbuilding 1:32/1:40 Farm models which i aim to sell. So having the 2 jobs brings in the money i need to buy parts etc.

I was a moderator on the First APF after Arno asked me if i wanted the position. Since then I have switched between the Moderator and Admin postiton filling in for Wolf' due to his internet or lack of internet.

I think that all for now, Feel free to ask any questions.

The Rules of APF.
This is a simple and easy guide of how not to get banned. Please make sure you read and fully understand these rules.

1. Choosing the correct place for your post.
-Make sure you carefully read the names AND descriptions of the different areas of the forum. Topics found in the wrong places will be moved or removed.

2. What you post.
-Use detailed and descriptive titles for your posts.
-Dont just put 'HELP PLZ!!!' or 'PROBLEM', put a descriptive title such as 'Help with colour settings' or 'Having problem with my memory card'

-Keep your post interesting and informative.
-APF is not a chat room, Therefore no one word posts eg. 'LOL'
A chat room is in development, however this does not mean one word acronym posts will always be acceptable, but those acronyms will hardly be moderated in a strict matter when used in sentences.

-Be polite and friendly.
-There will be no hostility on APF, even if another member has bad mouthed you or someone else. The chances are a Moderator will see the problem and resolve it, If not you can always click the 'Report to moderator' Button.

-This is a family forum.
-So no Swearing, And no Sexual References.

-We are all equal.
-So no racism, agism, sexism or any other form of discrimination.

-Help and help alike.
-Be polite and grateful for help when you recieve it, Even if it dosn't help someone has taken time to try and help you.

-New members.
It often takes new members a bit of time to settle in so be patient with them if they ask silly questions, We were all new at one point.

-Think before you 'Post'.
-Double check: Is my post in the right place? Id it appropriate? Does it follow the rules?

Users who fail to follow these simple rules will have their posts removed or may even face a ban either semi-perminant or permianant. It is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with these rules as 'Not Seeing' these rules is not an excuss for breaking them.

3. Account Security.
-Passwords.
NEVER tell anyone your password EVER!
The Admins or Moderators at APF will never ask you for your password.
If anyone asks for your password claiming to be an Admin or Moderator please email (mcgregor.wolf@gmail.com) or (APFProboards@gmail.com)

-Official emails.
Official emails may be sent to your email address from time to time, Our official email addresses are:

Wolf Mcgregor- (mcgregor.wolf@gmail.com)
Arno Goossens- (ar1g3@hotmail.be)
Lewis Allan- (nod500@fsmail.net)
Official Forum Email Address: (APFProboards@gmail.com)

We will NEVER email you to ask for your password or other account details. If you recieve an email from someone asking for your password, Ignore it and report it to one of the above addresses.

-Sharing accounts.
Never let your 'Friend', Brother/Sister or ANYONE ELSE use your account!
If your account gets banned while someone else is using it, your account will NOT be unbanned. Therefore its your responsibility to keep your account safe.

4. Moderators
-Moderators Rights
Moderators reserve the right to remove any post, topic or user without any explanation or warning, and hereby do not need to justify their actions in any way.

-Let the staff do their jobs.
The staff are here for a reason, To save you from looking after the site. If someone has posted something about that you think breaks the rules, don't think you can resolve the problem by yourself. A member is more likely to listen to a staff member rather than another member, So report the post or send a friendly PM to one the Staff and we will take the action we think is suitable. We have ways of dealing with members and posts, so leave the moderating to us please.

5. Signatures
Signatures must not be any bigger than 500px long and 150px high, Any signatures bigger than this will be removed without any prior warning.

This is a template of the Maximum size:

Upon registration, you have agreed to all these rules. If you feel that you do not agree with any of these rules, please contact an administrator to get your account deactivated.
